Benefit Concert

 

A Benefit Concert given by the renowned Freiburg Baroque Orchestra (www.barockorchester.de) took place on Wednesday, November 5, at 8 pm at the Freiburg Concert Hall and featured famous works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The concert was organised by the German Federal Foreign Office and the City of Freiburg.

Charity Project for Climate Protection

The climate protection project "Lighting Up Hope and Communities in Rural Nicaragua" will be funded by proceeds from the Benefit Concert in the amount of 35.000 Euro and contributes to sustainable development in rural Nicaragua through the use of solar energy. The project is one of this year's winners of the international competition of the Supporting Entrepreneurs for Environment and Development (SEED) Initiative (www.seedinit.org).
