Dr Muiz Adeyemi Banire is the Honourable Commissioner
for Environment of Lagos State. He studied law and obtained his
doctorate in Lagos.
Dr. Banire has specialized in the areas of land law, equity and trust,
secured credit transactions, planning and compulsory acquisition.
He published diverse papers in learned journals and published books
and also taught at the Department of Private and Property Law at
the University of Lagos. Before assuming his current office, Dr
Banire was the Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties and the
Honourable Commissioner for Transportation of Lagos State.
