Jürgen Hogrefe, born in 1949, has been heading the department
for Economic Affairs, Political and Societal Issues of EnBW Energie
Baden-Württemberg AG since May of 2003. He acts as the group’s
fully authorized representative (Generalbevollmächtigter)
and operates from Berlin.
As a journalist (M.A. in public relations), Mr.
Hogrefe was an editor with “Der SPIEGEL” news magazine
for eighteen years, serving as its Near East correspondent in
Jerusalem from
1993 until 1998.
Until the beginning of 2003, he reported from the news magazine’s
offices in the German capital as its German foreign policy correspondent.
Mr. Hogrefe has written and edited several books, his latest publications
are:
