Prof Dr Dr Peter Höppe is the Chairperson
of the Munich Climate Insurance Initiative and the Head of the
Geo Risks Research
Department of Munich Re. He studied meteorology and physics, specializing
in the evaluation of environmental risks. Prof Höppe was the
president of the International Society of Biometeorology and carried
out diverse tasks for the WHO and WMO.
